Starlim, the world’s largest manufacturer of liquid silicone products, has expanded its global footprint by establishing a new production facility in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, China. This plant marks Starlim’s first venture into the Asia-Pacific region, underscoring the company’s commitment to serving its customers in this rapidly growing market.
The factory was planned in a lowcarbon approach meeting Passivhaus standards thermally for both buildings. The factory has large windows to give natural light to the production spaces and limit the artificial lighting usage. The standard for the production halls is cleanspace. For the interior of the office building the corporate colors were the guiding line. The facade of the office building follows a 3D - rythm giving an attire beyond industrial to the venue. Big open glass enclosures and quality materials reflect the DNA of the company ethics. The venue sets a milestoe for industrial buildings in the region.
